What started as (new-wave) cover band Midlife quickly changed with the arrival of singer Saskia. 
We immediately started working on our own songs, with clearly more punk influences. Saxman Lieven joined and provides the funny note and soulful twist! Frontwoman Saskia writes lyrics and 'hooks', her stage acts are always intense! 

Hard to put
a label on it!

We describe it ourselves - building further on the first band name - as 'midlife' punk, because we can hardly call ourselves punks (at our age 😁 ), and further more because we don't produce raw punk, but rather catchy punk songs, with influences from different genres (pop, ska, new-wave, post-punk, ...), clearly inspired by the singer's favorites… PJ Harvey, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Nina Hagen, Patti Smith, Dead Kennedys, Diamanda Galas...
