What started as (new-wave) cover band Midlife quickly changed with the arrival of singer Saskia. NeXt! immediately started working on their own songs, with outspoken (80's) punk influences.
Frontwoman Saskia writes lyrics and helps define the typical NeXt! sound. Her stage acts are always intense!

HARD TO LABEL

in an attempt to describe ourselves better, when asked, we call it 'midlife' punk  😁,  in referral to the first band name, further more because we don't produce 'raw punk', but rather catchy/edgy songs, with influences from different genres (punk, post-punk, pop, ska, new-wave,  ...).

INSPIRATION
The singer is  clearly inspired by her favorites…  Siouxsie & The Banshees, Nina Hagen, PJ Harvey, Patti Smith, Dead Kennedys, Diamanda Galas...
